About This Journey
Both ends of Vietnam in one week, connected by an internal flight. The northern half covers Hanoi and an overnight Halong Bay cruise; the southern half covers Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi tunnel network, and a dinner cruise on the Saigon river.
Hotels are four-star in both cities with a five-star cruise vessel in the bay. A water puppet show, professional guide, internal flight, and all airport transfers are included.
Day by Day
Hanoi arrival
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. The evening brings a water puppet show, followed by dinner and a first walk around Hoan Kiem Lake.
Hanoi city
Guided city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, the Ho Chi Minh complex, the Temple of Literature, and the Old Quarter, with the afternoon free among the street food stalls.
Hanoi to Halong Bay
Transfer to the bay and board your cruise. Lunch on board as you sail through the limestone islands, with visits and activities during the afternoon, dinner served at anchor, and an overnight among the karsts.
Halong Bay to Ho Chi Minh City
Morning cruising and brunch on board, then disembark and return to Hanoi for the internal flight south to Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City
City tour taking in Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic post office, closing with a dinner cruise along the Saigon river.
Cu Chi Tunnels
Travel out to the Cu Chi Tunnels for the tunnel sections, historical displays, and wartime remnants, returning to the city with the evening free.
Saigon departure
Transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight.
