About This Journey
Three Baltic capitals with two nights in each, plus a ferry crossing to Helsinki for the day. The route pairs each city with a countryside excursion: Sigulda and the Turaida Museum Reserve from Riga, Rundale Palace and the Hill of Crosses en route to Vilnius, and Trakai Castle on its island in Lithuania.
Tallinn adds Kadriorg Palace and the medieval old town, and the Helsinki day includes a guided tour and the sea fortress of Suomenlinna. Four-star hotels, coach transfers, and visa assistance are included.
Day by Day
Riga arrival
Arrive at Riga Airport and begin with a guided city tour covering the major highlights, then transfer to the hotel and check in with free time to relax.
Sigulda and Turaida
Scenic transfer to Sigulda for an orientation tour, then the Turaida Museum Reserve, one of the most important historical sites in Latvia, before returning to Riga.
Riga to Vilnius
Travel south with stops at the baroque Rundale Palace and the Hill of Crosses, a pilgrimage site covered in tens of thousands of crosses, then continue to Vilnius.
Trakai and Vilnius
Visit Trakai Castle, set on an island in the lakes west of the city, then return for a guided tour of the Vilnius old town and its baroque churches and courtyards.
Vilnius to Tallinn
Fly north to Tallinn and begin with a guided city tour, including Kadriorg Palace and its gardens, before transferring to the hotel.
Helsinki day trip
Ferry across the Gulf of Finland to Helsinki for a guided city tour, then a second short ferry to the UNESCO-listed sea fortress of Suomenlinna, returning to Tallinn in the evening.
Tallinn departure
Breakfast and time at leisure in the old town until your airport transfer for the homebound flight.
