Ros omelette is another delicacy made from xacuti curry which is formed from chick peas or chicken and egg. Goan sausage or chorus pao is legendary also as cutlet pao.

The other famous goan delicacies are as follow:-

1. Goan Fish Curry
The Goan fish curry also referred to as the Xitti Kodi is that the staple diet of each Goan. The Goan fish curry is loaded with various spices and coconut. Raw mango could also wont to give the dish . the most ingredients are an honest sized Pomfret or Kingfish and a raw mango, served along side rice.

2. Shark Ambot Tik
Ambot Tik Goan food influenced by portuguese culture . The word ‘Ambot’ meant sour and ‘tik’ means spicy. Kashmiri Red chillies are wont to add spice to the dish and Kokum wont to make the dish taste sour. Shark fish is diced and tossed with onions, tomatoes and masala. 

3. Chicken Xacuti

Chicken Xacuti consists of poppy seeds and red chillies. this is often yet one more Portuguese influenced famous Goan food. The Goan curry consists of chicken, potatoes, onions, coconuts, chillies . Kashmiri chillies are specifically used as they provide intense hot flavour and also give colour to the dish. this is often one among the foremost popular Goan Food.

4. Goan Pork Vindaloo 

Goan food was previously called Vindahlo but due to the utilization of potatoes, eventually it had been named is called Vindaloo (aloo means potatoes). The dish consists of pork, onions, chillies, garlic, Vinegar and other spices. Masala is ready using the chillies and is then mixed with meat and vinegar. 5. Sorpotel

6. Feijoada – Red Beans With Pork
This dish is formed of red beans and pork influenced by a portuguese recipe. Salted pork, masala and red beans are combined and fried to organize this dish. 7. Chicken Cafreal
Cafreal chicken may be a spicy green coloured dish which will leave your mouth watering. Grinding green chillies, herbs along side various spices together make the masala for the chicken. Then, the chicken is mixed with this masala and fried. This Goan dish doesn’t require anything on the side but it’s going to be served with salads.

8. Sorak
Sorak may be a simple vegetarian curry made mostly during the monsoon season in Goa. Curry consists of spicy masala with onions and tomatoes served with hot steaming rice .

9. Samarachi Kodi

Samarachi Kodi may be a dish prepared during the monsoons. Dry prawns, onion, coconut, tamarind and tomatoes are the most ingredients . Coconut milk is added to offer it the standard flavour and texture. Some also use Bombay ducks rather than prawns served mostly with hot rice and pickle. 

10. Prawns Xeque Xeque
Prawns Xeque Xeque is an exotic dish made from prawns, coconut milk, tomatoes, green chillies and onions. The masala is mixed with prawns and added to onions, garlic and tomatoes.Finally,t he coconut milk is added gradually. This Goan dish are often accompanied with Sannas, dosas or fugias
