The last places she visited was Dubai and she gave us an insight on Dubai’s food,culture and travel. She described Dubai as a shopping hub with every brand and commodity. Gold shopping is popular in Dubai as it is cheaper and there is no taxes. Her trip was divided into two parts. The first half was trying out all the local experiences and delicacies. The second part included staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel just dining and going to luxurious places. 

In the first half she visited various restaurants such as Venus which is renowned for South Indian food and its famous filter coffee. Paragon is known for Malyali food. Another famous dish there is biryani. One can also find Thali’s at places such as Amaravathi. Other famous cuisines are Pakistani, Arabic and Peshawari cuisine. A famous old restaurant is Gazebo which serves indian and Arabic food. Dates are a big part of Dubai’s culture and a special dish called Kanafeh which is made up of dates. The locals of Dubai rarely venture out. She calls Dubai a global city as one can see a lot of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Lebanesse people.
